Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site uses, what they do, and how you can manage them from your browser.

This policy explains what is stored in your browser when you visit elvinaalmuradova.com, what it is for, and how you can manage it.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved in your browser when you visit a website. Sites use cookies to keep a session going, to remember preferences, or to measure how visitors behave.
Not all cookies are alike. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work; others serve to recognise a visitor, to measure, or to show advertising. This site has only one cookie, from the first group.
2. The cookie used on this site
A single cookie is used, and it is strictly necessary for the site to work:
- PHPSESSID (session cookie) — Required for the security of the contact form. It confirms that a submission genuinely came from this site; without that check the form would be open to abuse. The cookie carries only an identifier, holds no personal information, and is deleted when you close your browser.
3. Cookies that are not used
This site has no analytics cookies (Google Analytics and the like), no advertising cookies and no social media tracking cookies. No visitor profile is built, your browsing on other sites is not followed, and no data is shared with advertising networks.
That is why the notice at the bottom of the page is not a consent box: there is no optional cookie to consent to. Its only purpose is to inform you and then close for good.
4. Browser storage (localStorage)
Two small pieces of information are stored in your browser in a similar way, though they are not cookies. They are never sent to the server; they stay in your own browser:
- theme — Your light/dark theme preference, kept so the site opens with the same theme on your next visit.
- cerez-bildirimi — The fact that you closed the cookie notice, kept so it does not reappear on every page.
5. Content from other sites
Some pages carry content belonging to other companies. When that content loads, the company concerned can see your IP address and may use its own cookies. Those cookies are not under our control and are governed by that company's own policy.
- YouTube videos — Served through the privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com) and not loaded when the page opens. A connection to YouTube is made only when you press play; until you do, YouTube does not see you.
- Google Maps — The location map on the Contact page is provided by Google.
- hCaptcha — Active only if spam protection is added to the contact form. It is currently switched off.
6. How to manage cookies
You can delete cookies or block them entirely from your browser settings, usually found under "Privacy and security".
If you block the one cookie on this site you can still read every page; only the contact form will stop working. In that case you can reach us by telephone or e-mail.
If you clear your browser storage, your theme preference and the record of your closing the cookie notice are deleted, and the site opens in its default state.
7. Changes to this policy
The cookies in use may change when a new feature is added to the site. If that happens, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date above is renewed.
